The One Tree Hill Cup was held at Auckland Archery Club over the weekend. Well done to the organisers, officials and volunteers - a massive 70 archers competing! Wow! Ben McLean 🥉 Men’s Open Recurve Isabella Matthews 🥇 Women’s Open Recurve + 🥈 Combined 70m Matchplay + 🏆 Women’s 70m Matchplay + Jaeda & Kerry managed to take the money in the famous camera shoot (first to hit the X) in their respective bow types. Two of our fantastic staff shooters Izzy Matthews and Ben McLean just returned from the Australian Nationals! Izzy won second place in the open women’s 900 round, third place in the open women’s 1440 round, second place in the combined 1440 and 900 round and third place in the individual matchplay. Izzy and Ben shot together in mixed teams and took second place! Many of us enjoyed cheering you on from this side of the Tasman in those nail biting matchplay matches! The Archery Warehouse Challenge 2024! Brilliant new trophys and cash prizes were up for grabs over the weekend at the Archery Warehouse Challenge with 63 archers on the line for a single 720 on Saturday & elimination open matchplay on the Sunday. Although the wind was doing it’s best to make things interesting archers and supporters alike had a great time (especially when the sponsor got behind the BBQ).
